Pussycat singer Toni Wille took the stage at the Vodafone Arena by storm opening her concert with the song Broken Souvenirs. Fans rushed near the main stage to take photographs of Ms. Wille while some danced to the beat of the '70s favourites.
TONI Wille's Golden Memories Fiji Tour ended on Saturday night, drawing a crowd of more than 2000 cheering music lovers. Fans ranging from five to 60 years old were entertained with a musical feast on the front lawn of the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club in Nadi. Overcast conditions kept the cold night wind at bay as One2eight and Rosiloa paved the way for the inimitable Miss Wille, who performed some of her greatest hits such as Bad Boy, Mississippi, Smile, Same Old Song and Georgie.
Organiser Daniel Rae Costello and his band, The Cruzez, also delivered two of their most memorable hits Take Me To The Island and Samba - which brought fans to their feet.
"I would like to acknowledge Toni for taking the time to come out here and making this show possible," Mr Costello said. "And I also would like to thank all the fans who turned up in Suva and Nadi to watch the shows, I hope you enjoyed it and I have to say thanks to my boys, the Cruzez, One2eight and Rosiloa for outstanding performances. And a big vinaka vakalevu to the Fiji Times for giving the event great coverage."
